Chorokgorae × Lee Jinhyung × Song Miseon, 〈4/0〉
- Session 1 | 17:00–19:30
* No audience seating will be installed for this showcase. Audience members will participate in or watch the work while standing or sitting on the floor.
* Fog will be used as a stage effect. A water-based theatrical fog fluid that is harmless to the human body will be used; however, depending on individual sensitivity, temporary respiratory irritation such as coughing may occur. Please keep this in mind when attending.

Song Songhee × Jeong Ui suk × Lee Woogyeong, 〈fore-future〉
〈fore-future〉 brings together bodily sensations and fragments of sound that precede language, along with sonic events arriving from different temporalities, within a single space. They coexist in the present while retaining their distinct times and contexts. When something that has not yet become language and something that has already passed are sensed simultaneously, how might our perception of what we call “now” change?
The prototype 〈fore-future〉 seeks to reconsider the nature of the present through moments in which multiple times and events intersect.

Song Songhee
Choreographer Song Songhee has focused on things that are omitted behind social systems and marginalized beyond what is visible. Recently, she has been exploring the potential of fragile, easily broken sounds and movements to unsettle familiar modes of perception.

Jeong Ui suk
Musician and sound artist Jeong Ui suk explores the unfamiliarity that emerges as distinct sonic events meet and disperse within multi-channel speaker environments, as well as the relationships that shift according to listening position and context.

Lee Woogyeong
Lee Woogyeong is a creative producer who views space as an ecosystem continually renewed through the participation of bodies, technology, and audiences. Working across XR, games, parties, and media, she explores how a sense of place can be reconfigured as a communal experience.


Cumulus (Kim Hyunjin × Ok Changyeob × KIM Bo Kyeong), 〈Cu-us〉
〈Cu-us〉 translates networks of materials and forces that cannot be directly perceived or have become invisible into visual, auditory, and tactile experiences. It connects copper (Cu) and us with a hyphen. The world of materials entangled in between is also part of “us.”
At a time when AI flows like air, we stand on copper. Copper is mined and refined, running through technological infrastructure. From ore to wire, to circuit boards, and back into our everyday lives. Copper circulates as it changes states, weaving networks of matter and forces through its conductivity.
The audience reads these cycles and connections through the body. Situated between technology and matter, the body moves through and alters the states of both. When we experience through the body what has become invisible, what is being choreographed, and what do we come to know again?

Kim Hyunjin
Choreographer. She explores where the issues encountered in contemporary life meet the body. She choreographs relationships among audience movement and navigation, space and distance, light, sound, and objects. More recently, she has been exploring a sense of planetary connectedness that emerges through imagining and sensing worlds that are difficult to grasp directly.

Ok Changyeob
Media artist and researcher. Through sensors, electronic circuits, real-time data, light, and sound, he transforms invisible physical phenomena and technological infrastructure into perceptible experiences. In this project, he examines the materiality of technology through copper and its electromagnetic properties.

KIM Bo Kyeong
Producer, dramaturg, and researcher. She works across the boundaries of art and technology, planning and production. By translating between different languages and systems, she designs a commons in which media, bodies, and audiences can meet. She gives technology specific contexts and density while exploring the sensations and experiences mediated within them.


Chorokgorae × Lee Jin Hyeong × Song Miseon, 〈4/0〉
What does it mean to become deeply aware of oneself within a repetitive rhythm while simultaneously sensing a connection with the people who coexist alongside us? We carried this question with us throughout the research process. We spent time performing bodily practices that explored a sense of connection and examining techno as a genre from multiple perspectives. In the process, we discovered gaps between our different creative approaches while also spending time learning to understand one another.
We then slightly twisted the 4/4 time signature that forms the basis of the work and arrived at the title 〈4/0〉. There is a beat, but it remains incomplete and open. This state resembled the sensation we had reached.
Ultimately, this prototype is an experiment in composing and developing choreography through five keywords: anonymity, mechanicality, density, repetition, and connection. We look forward to the unknown moment of discovering what kinds of sensations it may convey to the audience.

Chorokgorae (Yang Byeong hyeon, Joung Sohee)
Chorokgorae focuses on the vitality sensed in nature, people, objects, and phenomena, as well as the emotions accumulated within them. The vitality Chorokgorae observes is closer to an intrinsic and active force that emerges from within, beyond learned modes of behavior. Through careful sensing and observation of these forces and emotions, the group transforms them into movement through physical exploration.

Lee Jin Hyeong
Seoul-based artist Lee Jin Hyeong has worked across various genres, primarily using media and technology, with a particular focus on transforming the meanings embedded in data. In this prototype, he explores processes through which bodies and images are translated according to different sets of rules.

Song Miseon
As a member of Producer Group DOT, Song Miseon is drawn not to working within a specific genre, but to projects that allow her to learn something new and expand her world. She enjoys collaborating with artists and professionals from diverse fields who explore contemporary social issues through artistic languages.
