We are in 2030.
In the city of Tanju, a heat wave has lasted over 130 days, generating different social problems. So the
city requested the Future Forest Environment Institute to see if we could achieve net-zero emissions by
2060. The participants become new researchers of the institute and join the policy research project for the
city of Tanju, which is in danger because of the climate crisis. The future of the city depends on their
decision.
The workshop is based on the board game played with the audience during the performance <Moving a Forest:
Theater Game 1.0 >, which was presented at SPAF 2022. The participants are invited to play a
collaborative
board game. In order to find the best way to make a new city which could coexist with nature, they need to
review and discuss policies and make a decision. If they succeed in protecting the city, they will be
given an opportunity to design its future. Will they be able to make a happy city existing in harmony with
nature?
