‘Salon NEXT’ is a program dedicated to supporting the diverse experiments and creative energy of the next generation of artists. <Salon NEXT: Creators> brings together performing arts curators and creators, while <Salon NEXT: Festival Criticism> provides a space for artists, critics, and arts managers to share perspectives and foster solidarity.

<2026 Salon NEXT: Festival Criticism – Performing Arts Curatorship and Festival Dramaturgy> brings together young artists, critics, and arts managers under the age of 40 to explore the meaning of curatorship in the programming of contemporary performing arts festivals. The workshop considers how a festival can become more than a collection of performances presented together, evolving instead into an artistic structure that connects works, artists, audiences, communities, society, and contemporaneity to generate new experiences and discourses.
