Performing Arts and Digitality Digital Dramaturgy: Focusing on concept and practice

Contemporary society cannot be conceived apart from technology, and algorithms increasingly govern our lives. Yet in creative practice, technology often remains a mere tool. Grounded in an understanding of our technological society, this Digital Dramaturgy Workshop seeks new methodologies of creation that transcend traditional ways of thinking. Producers, dramaturgs, and other mediators will explore how to translate and align the languages of art and technology, co-formulate questions with artists, and extend them to audiences and society. It will be a forum where experienced mediators share concerns and experiment with new structures of creation.
