Afrofusion – Moving into Dance Mophatong

Lesego Dihemo and Teboho Letele, of the internationally acclaimed South African dance company Moving into Dance Trust (MID), facilitate the Afrofusion workshop. Both are highly sought-after, multi-award-winning dancers and choreographers. Afrofusion is a technique developed by MID’s founder and is Moving into Dance’s signature dance genre. This technique combines African dance, movement, rhythm, and music with contemporary dance. The movements are usually well-grounded and are based on the principle of embracing gravity and the undulations of the spine.
