Fugue is a collaborative work of the choreographer Inbal Pinto and Israeli musician Maya Belsitzman, which deals with the reconstruction of the past lives, extinct worlds and lost characters. The left void filled with the fragments of thoughts and circles of resonance, rekindles for a limited time that has been forgotten but not erased. It is a reflective work about a revived past, lost worlds, shadows and figures. This new piece by Inbal Pinto also examines periods of time and its location in space, creating a rich fan of colors, sensations and sounds.
Joining the ‘Batsheva Dance Company’ in 1994 and ‘Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Pollak Dance Company’ in 2002, choreographer Inbal Pinto has presented her works at the world’s prestigious festivals and theaters, such as Haus der Kulturen der Welt (Berlin), Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), Suzanne Dellal Centre, Lyon Dance Biennale, Jacob's Pillow and American Dance Festival, etc. She won the special prize for the Israeli performing arts with the work Oyster, a co-production with the Maison de la danse in Lyon, France in 1999.
